If I’m growing Hemp strictly for fiber and not interested in chemical content or grain, is it viable to harvest as soon as the veg stage is complete and the plant has reached a maximum height?

Hi Lorena, this is Marty Mahan from Heartland Hemp Coop.
The time of harvest will depend on the specifications of your buyer. The general rule for textile applications is to harvest once the males are shedding pollen.
I hope that helps!

How many here are growing certified organic grain?
I am looking for certified organic producers to be involved in our Certified Organic Hemp Grain Program.
Preference is a minimum of 25 acres. Anyone out there interested or know someone who is certified and may have interest?
I can do a virtual visit or actually come to your land and discuss the opportunities!
Let’s Grow Together!
